When I came across the advertisement of the launch of new Samsung LN40A650, my hopes were rising. My research on Samsung LN40A650 told me that I had got what I was looking for.. Now that I have bought it and have used and very happy, below are my reviews of the product (hope they help you to make your decision).
In this model the reset setting rectification has been done. So now the customers are satisfied that the company has immediately listened to the complaints and rectified the mistake. But this rectification procedure has to be followed by you by inserting a USB drive. At the same time the procedure is simple and detailed instructions have been provided by Samsung.
Honestly speaking this model has no comparison with any other product when we talk of clarity and colors. It is miles ahead of others. All the aspects and features of the TV sets are simple unique and amazing. The LN40A650\ boasts of having three HDMI inputs on the back, and one HDMI input on left side which made my devices incredibly easy to hook up. This makes it perfect condition for watching a movie at home with your family and friends.
Also this is the only set in its series which has a fan built into the screen. But do not worry. The fan does not coming in your way of hearing as it is completely noiseless.
The thing which most attracted me about this piece was the Touch of Color (TOC) feature. I thought it would go very well with color setting of my drawing room. And I was bang on! The vibrant red color is just the perfect match for my drawing room and I am left with a big smile on my face.
The glossy piano black of the A650s does cause reflections at times but I don’t consider it to be a deal breaker. It’s easier to notice the reflections during the day but I still experimented with light placement so that lamp reflections were not visible at night.
Although the TV does not provide me with 5.1 surround sound capability, the TV speakers have enough power to give nearly that kind of a feel. Also, how much does a 5.1 surround sound speakers cost?
Now if we go on to see the product objectively, it has number of advantages like amazing picture quality, Touch of Color feature (TOC) which is absolutely superb and numerous picture options which provide you with a plethora of choices. Well among the cons are points like the quantity and complexity of picture options can be overwhelming. The copy of the famous Apple I Pod wheel in the remote just does not make any sense and only increases your irritation level some times.
Another outstanding feature of this set is that TV can connect to the internet for updated stock info, weather and other useful info.
